D&D Creations – Lake Vue
Lake Vue features a complete scene designed in Vue 2014.5. It includes a detailed, high-resolution terrain with flow map, lakes in the valleys and along the cliffs, two layers of ecosystem, based on the terrain’s erosion map, and a realistic photometric atmosphere.
The terrain’s resolution is 4096 x 4096, and it is 4km x 4km large. The highly detailed terrain has mountains, valleys, cliffs, terraces and strong erosion. The Flow Map controls the realistic distribution of rocks and sediment. The Erosion Map of the terrain was used for the ecosystem distribution in the valleys, with ecosystem clumping enabled for more variety.
The photometric atmosphere, combined with Reinhard 2 Tone Mapping Filter gives a soft, realistic look.
